“Joy Restored” is more than just a name — it’s a reflection of my heart and my journey.
A few years ago, I lost my mother. Watching my father navigate life afterward opened my eyes to how deeply loneliness can affect someone who has lost a partner. He struggled — not just emotionally, but with finding connection, purpose, and a reason to smile again.
That experience moved me to create something meaningful:
A peaceful, emotionally supportive home where widows, widowers, and independent seniors can feel understood, connected, and valued.

Joy Restored Independent Living
We provide a safe, shared residential setting — not a facility — where residents enjoy the warmth of a family-like atmosphere, uplifting companionship, and joyful activities. Each resident can choose from private or shared bedrooms in a clean, fully furnished home, with all utilities and housekeeping included.
Residents prepare their own meals in our fully stocked shared kitchen, with the option to participate in occasional community meals, Sunday brunches, and holiday dinners hosted by our team. It’s the perfect blend of independence and connection.

If any resident ever requires medical care or licensed services beyond what we provide, we will help coordinate outside assistance or connect them with appropriate licensed care providers in the community.

Our residents never have to feel like they don’t have their own comfortable and private haven to call home. We prioritize comfortable accommodation, whether you’re living by yourself or with a loved one.
Our residents can choose from studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments with kitchenettes, walk-in closets, and safety-equipped bathrooms.
Our spacious apartments, ranging from 427 to 950 square feet, are also pet-friendly and include all utilities (except phone) for your convenience.
Delicious Daily Dining
Our on-site culinary team always ensures our residents’ nutritional needs are met.
All Joy Restored Independent Living residents are treated to three delicious restaurant-quality meals every day, served by our talented culinary team in our shared dining spaces. Residents enjoy fresh, beautifully presented, and tasty meals every day of the week.
Residents are also free to prepare snacks in their apartment kitchenettes or venture into downtown Burleson to dine in any of the wonderful restaurants they desire. We make it easy for our residents to enjoy delicious food.
